This position is 100% onsite; no remote or hybrid option is available at this time. The role involves assisting the Integrated Manufacturing Process & Product Design Team (IMPPDT) in analyzing turbine engine component designs, reviewing corrective action requests (CARs), and supporting redesigns for manufacturability and cost savings. The engineer will collaborate with other engineers, designers, suppliers, and manufacturing staff to develop product designs that meet performance, operational, and customer requirements. Responsibilities also include evaluating materials, tooling, and production processes to support efficient manufacturing methods, researching customer requirements and industry standards, and supporting the creation of product designs, layouts, launch plans, tooling strategies, and documentation for production. Participation in process development activities such as DRs, CARDs, engineering updates, PPAP activities, and production-readiness checks is also expected, along with assisting in the identification, documentation, and management of nonconforming components.
