About The Position

This paid seasonal internship will start in the Fall of 2026 and continue through Spring 2027. Hours will flex between 35-40 hours per week during the duration of the role. At Hive, our values shape everything we do — from the way we design and create, to how we collaborate as a team and serve our clients and community. We believe that true success is built on integrity, purpose, and people. We value collaboration over competition, fostering an environment where creativity thrives, ideas are shared freely, and individuals are empowered to grow together. Hive is a home for creatives, innovators, and doers, where exceptional quality is not just a standard — it’s a calling. Our work is deeply personal and intentional. Whether we are designing interiors, curating retail experiences, baking, or building brands, we do it with a shared passion for excellence, beauty, and service. At Hive, you'll find a culture that celebrates craftsmanship, kindness, accountability, and joy — and a team that feels more like family than coworkers. The Hive Trade Design Intern will assist in client interactions, operational processes, visual merchandising and design projects while also gaining exposure to the retail and trade operations of Hive Collective. This role requires a passion for luxury design, strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate is flexible, eager to support both creative and operational aspects of the business, and comfortable engaging with clients on the sales floor. You will work closely with our Trade sales teams, shadow and cross-train with our Trade Project Manager/Data Administrator and Textile Specialist to learn all aspects of the role, support all textile sales and assist with the coordination of Hive Trade events — all while bringing the Hive aesthetic to life on the sales floor. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated design enthusiast to gain hands-on experience in both interior design and retail, develop customer engagement skills, and immerse themselves in the world of luxury home styling. Join us at Hive Collective and be part of a team that values creativity, collaboration, and exceptional design!
