About The Position

As a Design Intern at OnePay, you’ll work alongside the Design team to support product discovery, competitive analysis, interaction design, prototyping, and design systems work across active initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to how a fast-moving fintech builds and scales product design. Team Integration: You’ll be paired with Design team members and work alongside Product and Engineering partners, with opportunities to collaborate with Analytics. You’ll participate in design reviews, critiques, product discovery, and competitive analysis. Real-World Projects: You’ll support product discovery, competitive analysis, interaction design, and prototyping, and contribute to our design system while working on real product surfaces from concept through execution. Skill Building & Career Growth: Throughout the internship, you’ll attend workshops focused on technical skills, resume building, interview prep, and professional development. You’ll also have the chance to engage with company leadership during networking events. Mentorship: Receive guidance and feedback from your manager, as well as a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship experience, ensuring continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

Current Bachelor’s student expected to graduate in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028, majoring in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
Completed at least one previous internship, or have built a portfolio of substantial personal or academic design projects.
Available for a full-time, 8-week program running June 21 - August 13, 2027.
Available to work in our New York City office at least 3-4 days a week throughout the entire program.
