About The Position

The Design Integration Associate (Mechanical / Civil) is responsible for supporting the successful execution of the design phase on design-build, engineer-procure-construct, construction manager-at-risk, or other alternative delivery projects across all Alberici markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive engineering design experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in design-build, engineer-procure-construct, or integrated project delivery a plus.
  • Professional engineer (P.E.) licensure (or progress towards) preferred.
  • Certification as a DBIA certified professional is a plus.
  • LEED AP or PMP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in design-phase kick-off meetings. Supports pre-work for design-phase kick-off meetings, as assigned.
  • Supports maintenance of design workplans tracking task dependencies, weekly design commitments and action items.
  • Attends design meetings. Supports design meeting leaders with preparation of agendas, exhibits, reports and meeting minutes, as assigned.
  • Manages design team through individual design changes, RFI resolution, or submittal reviews during the construction and closeout phase.
  • Supports maintenance of centralized project information & documentation according to best practices.
  • Reviews design deliverables to verify scope is compliant with RFP compliance matrix.
  • Supports the maintenance of weighted risk matrices.
  • Supports technical reviews through administration of tools such as Bluebeam or Revizto.
  • Supports maintenance of design decision and change management logs.
  • Supports virtual collaboration with generation of reports and tracking of Open coordination issues.
