The work: Responsible for providing design, implementation, and transition engineering expertise in infrastructure, cloud, networking, and telecommunications. Design, develop, deploy, and manage a robust network topology within an enterprise hybrid cloud/on-premises environment. Manage a team of design/implementation engineers with specializations including datacenter, cloud, server, storage, networking, and unified communications. Partner with the Program Management Team to deliver a large portfolio of engineering projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsible for briefing senior leadership and client executives on complex IT system designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or an additional 4 years of experience.
  • 8 years of experience in design, implementation and transition to operations of IT solutions
  • Experience with Systems Engineering lifecycle
  • Technical project management experience
  • Experience managing large engineering teams
  • Possesses excellent understanding of infrastructure components, cloud capabilities, and software-defined practices.
  • Experienced in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, auto provisioning, and automation tools with the ability to design and deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions in an “as-a-Service” model.
  • IAT 3 certification i.e. CISSP-ISSEP
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance
