ADI is seeking a Digital Design Implementation Intern to support world-wide ASIC product development. The intern will collaborate with Digital Front End (DFE), Physical Design (PD), and Design-for-Test (DFT) engineers utilizing world class design tools/flows to support product development for ADI business units. This assignment will be in ADI’s Engineering Enablement Group with focus on digital design implementation services. Applicants must be goal oriented, self-driven, have high professional standards, have good communication skills, and be a team player.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.
  • Good understanding of ASIC design implementation flow.
  • Good programming skills. (Perl/Python/Java)
  • Course level VLSI design project experience.
  • Good trouble-shooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn ADI's digital design implementation flows and EDA tools.
  • Exposure to the entire digital implementation flow.
  • Run test cases through the digital design implementation flow (ex: Synthesis, Place-and-Route, Timing Closure etc.)
  • Hands on experience working in Linux environment.
  • Develop Perl/Python scripts for flow and procedure automation.
  • Track project schedules and document all phases of work.
