About The Position

The Design & Engineering Planning Coordinator facilitates the scheduling/planning process of the Design & Engineering room to meet customer delivery requirements and maximize operational efficiency.

Requirements

Experience in scheduling/planning processes.
Ability to work with Project Managers and Coordinators.
Skill in identifying and assessing risks, issues, and conflicts.
Proficiency in developing mitigation plans.
Experience in maintaining master schedules with changes, updates, and adjustments.
Ability to monitor project progress and identify deviations from schedule.
Proactive in addressing delays or other issues.
Experience in improving scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies.
Ability to provide accurate monthly outlook reports.
Experience with resource loads reporting.
Ability to provide weekly and monthly schedules for departments.
Experience in managing employee time tracking and labor budget reports.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage an integrated schedule for all Design & Engineering work.
Work with Project Managers and Coordinators to ensure project milestones are being achieved.
Identify and Assess risks, issues and conflicts that may impact schedule, and develop mitigation plans.
Work with project management to maintain the master schedule by incorporating changes, updates and adjustments as necessary.
Work with all members of the Design & Engineering team to monitor Project progress and identify any deviations from the schedule, taking proactive measures to address delays or other issues.
Continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide accurate monthly outlook reports to upper management.
Work with upper management on resource loads reporting.
Provide weekly and monthly schedules for each department.
Manage employee time tracking and labor budget reports.
