Requirements

Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with 3D Solid modelling (CATIA V5, Solid Works, Creo, etc)
Experience with Team Center
Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

Skills such as functional tolerance analysis, GD&T, change management, report writing, etc.
Gain knowledge relative to the design and manufacture of aerospace components.

Responsibilities

Participate in design of Landing Gear and Systems components working within an integrated product development team and coordinating with divisional engineering to ensure product excellence and integrity is achieved.
Generate detailed part and assembly definition drawings and models/FTA using CATIA V5Create associated parts lists supporting part definition
Support Investigative design related issues and develop effective solutions
Design to requirements and work with engineering team on requirements management
Assist with Engineering investigations into failures and participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action activities
Perform other duties as required
