About The Position

The Engineering team at Viking Pump Inc., a Unit of IDEX Corporation, is seeking a student co-op to work within our Engineering Department in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Specifically within the Biopharma project group. Student will participate in design/new product development projects to support Growth & Innovation in biopharma pumping segment. Certain positions with IDEX Corporation and its business units require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations. Applicants for these positions may need to be "U.S. Persons," as defined in these regulations. Generally, a "U.S. Person" is a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or an individual who has been granted refugee or asylum status. This position will be full-time from January 2027 - August 2027.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Adaptability/managing change
Self-guided learning
High impact communication
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
