Responsible for designing new products and improving/maintaining existing
products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering
principles, proficiency in design software, and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

• 5-7 year of proven experience as a Design Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

Nice To Haves

• Certification from a professional engineering body would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design new products, components, and systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers, production, and other stakeholders to refine designs and address technical challenges.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts.
• Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure designs are produced accurately and efficiently.
