About The Position

The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining engineering drawings, bill of materials, routings, and manufacturing programs. This role involves processing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Andon change requests, maintaining engineering lead times, and ensuring the accuracy of design input, approval drawings, and engineering packages. The Design Engineer will also provide support to customers, the shop floor, and sales teams, drive engineering innovations for the specified product line, and manage product design costs.

Requirements

• Create and maintain engineering drawings, bill of materials, routings and manufacturing programs.
• Process ECN's & Andon change requests, as required.
• Maintain engineering lead times.
• Ensure that design input, approval drawings and engineering packages are reviewed and accurate.
• Provide customer support, shop support and sales support, as necessary.
• Provide engineering innovations for specified product line.
• Maintain product design costs.
