About The Position

VAL-CO Industries is hiring a full-time, onsite Design Engineer in New Holland, Pennsylvania. The role develops new products and improves or modifies existing mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions for the agricultural industry. The Design Engineer uses computer-aided engineering tools, including CAE, CAD, and FEA, to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency during product design and analysis. The position provides material and process specifications for manufacturing or purchasing parts, guides Designers and Drafters through development projects, and assists with designing and fabricating prototypes to validate products or address customer needs. The engineer documents design requirements on production drawings to support accurate manufacturing. Occasional travel may be required. Requirements

BS or technical degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Solid engineering knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Ability to interpret written and oral instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with machines, manufacturing, or construction is preferred.
