Design Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a Design Engineer with experience in CREO or similar 3D modeling and 2D drawing. The role involves designing welded structures, access systems (handrails, walkways, platforms, stairs/ladders, gates, hinges, latches, etc.), and sheet metal components. The engineer will ensure designs comply with regulations and internal standards, starting with modeling and drawings and progressing to providing design concepts. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible individuals. Requirements
- CREO or similar 3D modeling and 2D drawing experience.
- Drawings conforming to ASME Y14.5.
- GD&T knowledge.
- Design for manufacturability knowledge.
- Design validation experience.
- Heavy equipment experience/knowledge (mining, construction or ag equipment).
- 5+ years of work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
- ISO 2867 knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CREO or similar software.
- Design welded structures.
- Design access systems including handrails, walkways, platforms, stairs/ladders, gates, hinges, and latches.
- Design sheet metal components.
- Ensure designs meet regulation compliance and internal design standards.
- Provide design concepts.
