About The Position

The Design Engineer develops detailed Audio-Visual (AV) system designs that meet client requirements, project scope, and industry standards. The role bridges conceptual design and implementation by producing technical documentation, validating system functionality, and coordinating across project teams to support successful execution of AV solutions. The Design Engineer collaborates with sales, project managers, architects, clients, and engineering teams; supports installation, commissioning, and system validation; and helps resolve design-related issues during project execution. The position makes independent design decisions within established project scope and guidelines, selects suitable equipment and system configurations based on performance and cost requirements, recommends improvements and value-engineering options, and escalates complex challenges to senior engineering leadership. Diversified is a global audiovisual and media technology company that designs and builds spaces and experiences for clients in corporate, entertainment, sports, retail, and government sectors. The company describes its work environment as collaborative and flexible and says it values diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
