Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed design on a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Complete projects within budget, timeline, and scope, while adhering to project specifications and standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical correspondence, engineering reports, and documentation.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation) to develop design solutions, perform engineering analysis, and produce maps, drawings, and takeoffs for cost estimating.
- Conduct necessary calculations for mapping, design analysis, and construction staking to support project development.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary design team, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Civil Engineer to ensure project success.
- Ensure that designs are compliant with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
