About The Position

As an intern with Textron, you’ll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You’ll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways – working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success. Candidate will operate in one or more functional disciplines such as design, analysis, electrical, avionics, etc. This internship is more than a summer experience — offering mentorship, training, and meaningful, hands-on work that helps you build confidence, develop new skills, and take real steps toward your career goals.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to work in a quick-paced environment where priorities change frequently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to clearly communicate technical details to others outside of specialty area

  • Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
  • Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in support of new product and sustaining designs
  • Coordinate with other Engineering and technical groups to develop, implement, monitor, and status assignments
