Design Engineer - Natural Gas Design
About The Position
ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, is expanding and seeking talented engineers to support high-pressure gas distribution and transmission projects. Our Gas Programs team is at the forefront of utility infrastructure, working on a variety of gas distribution and transmission projects. As a Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with project engineers and designers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. You’ll perform engineering calculations, design pipeline routes, and develop construction estimates. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career while contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects in a supportive and close-knit office environment. This position offers hybrid work flexibility, including site visits and in-person meetings in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Must have valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional project visits
Nice To Haves
- 0-4 years of natural gas engineering experience, preferably at an engineering consulting firm
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation or other 2D and 3D modeling software
