About The Position

This is a hybrid work position following company policy (currently requiring at least four days in the office and one day working from home). Upon manager’s discretion, skill-development needs, project status, and other factors, employees may be required to work in the office all five days. The role involves leading, creating, maintaining, and taking ownership of fuse box 3D designs, design changes, and drawings using Unigraphics (NX). Responsibilities include interpreting, maintaining, and developing schematics and bills of materials (BOMs), creating and maintaining project timelines, supporting internal meetings and design reviews, and interfacing with customers and suppliers. The position also requires developing DFMEA, DVP&R, and 5P documents, interpreting and applying GD&T to SEWS drawings, and participating in Continuous Improvement Activities. Travel may be required (>10%).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in fuse box design and engineering.
Experience with Unigraphics (NX) CAD is required.

Nice To Haves

7+ years of engineering experience is a plus.
Experience with Stellantis, Ford, Rivian, or GM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, create, maintain and take ownership of fuse box 3D designs, design changes, and drawings using Unigraphics (NX).
Interpret, maintain, and develop schematics and bills of materials (BOMs), and review them before release.
Create and maintain project timelines and due dates.
Support and conduct internal meetings and design reviews.
Interface with customers and supplier(s) regarding meetings, design reviews, build support, FOT orders, etc.
Develop DFMEA, DVP&R, and 5P documents.
Interpret and apply GD&T to SEWS drawings, and review them before release.
Travel may be required (>10%).
Work the team on Continuous Improvement Activities.
