About The Position

Join ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Design Engineer I and help design overhead and underground electric distribution projects that strengthen and modernize the power grid. You'll support storm hardening initiatives, new residential and commercial construction, solar energy projects, reconductoring, and other utility infrastructure improvements while learning from experienced engineers and growing your career. The objective of this role is to scope, design and develop electrical service systems for new customers. You will be responsible for customer interaction, scoping and cost estimation. You will be responsible for providing a design package that meets customer needs. You will often meet with the customer and construction crews on site to review the scope of our design and discuss project execution. This is a primarily work-from-home position that has required fieldwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
• 0-1 years of relevant work experience in consulting or related field
• Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus
