About The Position

Join our team as a Design Engineer I, where you will support natural gas infrastructure projects within our expanding Gas Programs team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of natural gas distribution design, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution across the project lifecycle. As a Design Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Gas Programs team, collaborating closely with senior engineers and gaining invaluable technical guidance on underground utility design. You'll apply your expertise to ensure designs meet project specifications, and communicate effectively about scope, schedule, and quality challenges. You will also collaborate with designers and drafters to complete comprehensive design packages. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your engineering career and make a real impact! This role is designated as hybrid in Minneapolis and the St. Paul metro area, giving you the flexibility to work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites and perform field work as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years experience in engineering, with transportation or utility coordination.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bluebeam software is a plus.
