About The Position

Join our dedicated team as a Design Engineer – Natural Gas, where you will support critical natural gas infrastructure projects within our growing Public Improvement team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of natural gas distribution design, plan review, and project coordination, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of public improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Ability to travel for occasional project visits.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with site visits and in‑person meetings in Dallas, TX.
• Must be located in the DFW area.

Nice To Haves

• 0–2 years of experience in natural gas engineering.
• Experience in transportation engineering or general utility engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects while working closely with project engineers, designers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Review public improvement plans.
• Prepare engineering designs.
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Develop pipeline routes.
• Create construction estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and external partners.
• Provide field support and site visits as needed.
