About The Position

Join our dedicated team as a Design Engineer – Natural Gas, where you will support critical natural gas infrastructure projects within our growing New Business team. ENTRUST Solutions Group is an industry leader in engineering consulting, known for its expanding gas utility presence and commitment to delivering high‑quality, community‑impacting infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of natural gas distribution design, plan review, and project coordination, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of new business projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Ability to travel for occasional project visits.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license without restrictions.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with site visits and in‑person meetings in Indianapolis, IN.

Nice To Haves

0–2 years of experience in natural gas engineering.

Responsibilities

Support the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects while working closely with project engineers, designers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
Prepare engineering designs.
Perform technical calculations.
Develop pipeline routes.
Create construction cost estimates.
Contribute to projects involving meter sets, regulator stations, subdivisions, main extensions, and service design.
Collaborate with internal teams, municipalities, and external partners.
Provide field support and participate in site visits as needed.
