About The Position

Spectrum Aquatics has manufactured swimming-pool equipment in Montana for more than 45 years. We help build communities through play and recreation - in the most fun environment: water. Our team values quality, practical improvement, collaboration, and people who take pride in work that is both accurate and useful. You may thrive in this position if you naturally: Notice small details others may miss and prefer to get the design right before it reaches production. Enjoy focused, technical work with clear standards, measurable requirements, and defined deadlines. Use logic, calculations, and research to make sound design decisions. Take ownership of assignments, work independently, and follow through without losing sight of team priorities. Ask thoughtful questions, document decisions, and communicate clearly when specifications are incomplete or conflicting. Value consistency and quality while still looking for a better, more efficient way to work.

  • Create and maintain build books, product manuals, diagrams, layouts, and step-by-step production documentation.
  • Generate and review bills of material for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review peer drawings and designs for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Support sales with product specifications and custom-order questions, and assist engineering with new-product development and product improvements.
