About The Position

This role is responsible for producing precast concrete structure designs and detailing, creating submittal packages, proposal drawings, and production drawing sets. The position also involves providing continual improvement suggestions as part of a collaborative team and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Proficient in the use of Autodesk products (Revit, Inventor 3D, AutoCAD 2D).
• Understanding of drafting standards & principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas, hyperlinks, sorting and searching data).
• Must be a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of mathematical concepts (trigonometry, calculate volumes, slopes, weights, unit conversions, simple load calculations, metric equivalents, drawing scales).
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 0 - 2 years’ drafting experience in manufacturing or construction industry.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of precast concrete design a plus.
• Degree in Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, or similar degree is a plus.
• Desire to continue to grow and develop.

Responsibilities

• Produce precast concrete structures designs and detailing using AutoCAD and Stack-it.
• Create submittal packages, proposal drawings and production drawing sets.
• Provide continual improvement suggestions as part of a collaborative team.
• All other duties as assigned.
