WSP is seeking an experienced professional to leading our Systemwide Design Corridor Management (DCM) team in Lisle, Illinois. In this role, you will assist with project coordination, documentation, and communication efforts across Systemwide design initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois
  • 10+ years of experience leading transportation infrastructure projects for the Illinois Tollway and IDOT
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, GEOPAK, InRoads, and OpenRoads
  • Experience using Trimble Unity Construct
  • Familiarity with AASHTO, Illinois Tollway, and IDOT standards and criteria

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop programs to support Illinois Tollway assets
  • Develop and manage scope for Systemwide design projects
  • Coordinate, prepare, and issue design scoping memorandums
  • Track project budgets, schedules, and contract deliverables
  • Participate in client and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets
  • Conduct and participate in design reviews for Systemwide contracts
  • Support Tollway Project Managers and Design Section Engineers (DSEs)
