Summary The Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting Design Studio operations and overseeing the physical showroom, including maintenance, samples, and displays. Essential Functions Design Studio & Showroom Operations Supports design studio processes and manages reports and tracking information for assigned projects Oversees the physical showroom, including maintenance, samples, and displays Works with the Design Studio Manager and vendors to correctly sample and display programs in showrooms Orders office and design studio supplies and maintains office equipment Assists in setting up new accounts and new design studios Administrative & Scheduling Support Answers phones, greets customers, schedules, and coordinates Design Center appointments Prepares designer files for appointments Provides project administrative support Assists with data entry and document management Communication & Collaboration Communicates regularly with builder personnel, designers, sales team, and manager Partners with designers and account executives to strategically manage builder accounts Refers complex or unusual problems to supervisor Process Improvement & Manager Support Identifies opportunities for process improvement Assists the Design Studio Manager as needed Work Structure & Other Responsibilities Under general supervision, exercises judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques Work typically involves regular review of performance by supervisor Performs other duties as assigned
