About The Position

The Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) is looking for a collaborative, solutions-driven professional to take ownership of our design and construction projects from conception to completion. You’ll join a team that manages over 2 million square feet of facility space and 32,000 acres of land, supporting critical state and federal missions. In this role, you will lead the entire project lifecycle—shepherding projects all the way from initial planning, scoping, and design, through contract administration, construction, and final closeout. As the central point of contact, you will drive coordination by bringing together end-users, agency leaders, and design consultants to deliver seamless, practical, and cost-effective solutions. Your end-to-end management will ensure that our facilities are built to the highest standards and successfully support the agencies serving our communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects, preferably with exposure to construction documents and methods.
  • Knowledge of core principles and best practices across architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals (cost, schedule, quality) and overall project management processes.
  • Knowledge of effective project administration and contract management strategies.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding, professional customer service.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with others to achieve shared goals in a diverse environment.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • Valid driver’s license.
