About The Position
The primary function of the Design Center Specialist is to provide stellar service to homeowners during their appointments to view and select stone and select sinks, faucets, and edge profiles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and vendors.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form.
Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of customer service.
- Answer the phones to schedule design appointments.
- Assist homeowners with stone, edge profile, and sink selections.
- Mark materials for hold from customer selections.
- Maintain Material Hold Log by updating customer holds as needed.
- Receive incoming products and materials.
- Communicate with Purchasing Department daily to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures.
- Uphold Classic Rock’s Core Values.
- Perform other duties as requested by Management to support the Company’s vision and mission.
