AECOM is seeking a Design and Construction Coordination Support/Document Control team member to work remotely or in their Sacramento, CA office. This role coordinates activities between Civil Infrastructure Engineering, design, and construction management teams to ensure alignment across construction packages. The position manages and tracks reviews of RFIs, NCRs, QMDPs, Bridge Quality Assessment Reports, and Design Variance Requests, acting as the primary point of contact at construction offices. Responsibilities include leading submittal review meetings, maintaining organized project documentation, and ensuring all records are properly archived through a systematic document control process. The role involves reviewing engineering submittals, comments, and responses between various teams to ensure compliance with high-speed rail requirements, participating in engineering meetings, providing project status updates for reporting, and developing and maintaining a systematic document control system. Additionally, the role coordinates technical submittals, facilitates communication between engineering staff, communicates Engineering processes and policies, and participates in various project meetings. Assistance in preparing bulletins, memoranda, policies, and procedures is also part of the role, representing the Engineering team in support of functional branches.
