About The Position
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Dermatology Physician to join their growing team. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical dermatology conditions for both adult and pediatric patients, including conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers. The position offers opportunities to provide additional services like phototherapy and select cosmetic services. Dermatologists will collaborate with various specialists within Kelsey-Seybold and participate in monthly tumor boards and quarterly journal clubs. The role emphasizes practicing medicine autonomously with the support of a national health care organization, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved training program in the United States.
- Licensed in the State of Texas.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage medical dermatology conditions for adult and pediatric patients.
- Treat conditions including, but not limited to, acne, eczema, psoriasis, bullous diseases, and skin cancers.
- Provide additional services such as phototherapy (nbUVB, excimer) and extended patch testing.
- Offer select cosmetic services.
- Collaborate extensively with other Kelsey specialists including General Surgery, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, and Radiation Oncology.
- Participate in a monthly tumor board.
- Participate in a quarterly journal club.
