About The Position
A leading dermatology center in Toms River, situated along the Jersey Shore, is seeking an enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to enhance its skin health team. This practice offers a welcoming atmosphere where patients receive tailored medical and aesthetic dermatology care utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. In this role, you will play an integral part in evaluating new and returning patients, performing in-office dermatologic procedures, and partnering closely with physicians on both routine and complex cases. You'll assist with cosmetic treatments, collaborate on individualized care plans, and support patients’ understanding of preventive skin care. Documentation excellence and a focus on delivering top-tier clinical quality are essential.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dermatology practice required
- Demonstrated proficiency in dermatological assessment and minor procedures
- Strong ability to educate and guide patients throughout their care
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate health recordkeeping
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills
- Valid New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain)
