About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Clifton Springs, NY. The service setting is an Outpatient Clinic, focusing on clinical duties only. The coverage period is from July 20, 2026, to January 2027, with a clinical shift schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role involves providing care to adults and adolescents, with an approximate patient volume of 25–35 patients per day, handling general dermatology evaluations and treatments. The facility uses Epic EMR system and has standard dermatology clinic equipment. Specialty backup is available from a dermatology team across multiple sites, and support staff is provided at a ratio of 1 staff per 12 patients (LPN, RN, MA). This coverage is supplemental.

Requirements

• Active NY license required (in hand)
• Board Certified required
• BLS required
• Minimum 3 years recent dermatology experience
• Must have recent Epic experience
• No significant work gaps

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient dermatology care
• Diagnose and treat skin conditions
• Collaborate with dermatology team and support staff
• Float to additional dermatology sites as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• General dermatology evaluations
• Skin condition diagnosis and treatment
