About The Position

Bethany Medical Clinic of New York is seeking an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant to join their collaborative team. This position is based primarily at their Murray Hill and Columbus Circle locations, with occasional travel to other New York City offices. The role involves working closely with Dermatologists and Physician Assistants, assisting with both medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures, and supporting the integrated primary care team. The clinic emphasizes patient-centered care, professional growth, and a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experienced as a Medical Assistant (Dermatology experience is a must).
• Passionate about patient care.
• Organized and able to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional.
• An excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel between office locations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations and procedures.
• Assisting with dermatologic procedures including: Skin biopsies, Botox® and cosmetic injections, Fillers, VI Peels.
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Obtaining vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing when needed.
• Assisting with COVID-19 testing and other clinical procedures.
• Supporting front desk operations as needed to provide seamless patient care.
• Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Providing exceptional patient service from check-in through follow-up.
