About The Position

Dermatology Associates & Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding team across West Virginia locations (Logan, Charleston, & Hurricane). This part-time role (2-3 days per week) offers a supportive, collaborative environment for an Advanced Practice Provider passionate about patient-focused dermatology. The position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care across a mix of medical and procedural dermatology services, offering the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while practicing in a focused and rewarding specialty.

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Active or eligible for licensure in West Virginia
• Dermatology experience as a PA or NP of 2 years required
• Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive skin evaluations, including diagnosis and treatment of dermatologic conditions
• Manage common skin concerns such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and skin infections
• Conduct skin cancer screenings and develop treatment plans
• Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and lesion removals
• Educate patients on treatment plans, skincare, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
