About The Position

Atria Health Institute is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join their multidisciplinary clinical team in Beverly Hills. This role involves providing proactive, longitudinal skin care, including full-body skin exams, early detection of skin cancer, and interpretation of Vectra 3D total body imaging. The provider will collaborate with internal medicine, pediatric, and specialty colleagues in a modern, tech-enabled, high-touch environment to offer medical dermatology and case management for chronic skin conditions.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner's license or PA-C license (NY or CA, as applicable per role)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
• 5 days x 8-hour shifts onsite with weekend availability
• BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Technology proficient and able to troubleshoot and work with systems required for care
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to team-based care
• Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Comfort working in a modern, tech-enabled practice

Nice To Haves

• Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency, or Family Medicine experience preferred
• Proficiency in punch biopsy and minor procedures of medical dermatology preferred
• Dermoscopy experience preferred, or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or assist with early detection and prevention full body skin exams for adults by leveraging Vectra 3D imaging to identify changes, guide biopsies, and support timely intervention.
• Liaise with on-site and off-site dermatologists caring for our members to provide coordinated care and best-in-class medical care for skin lesions requiring biopsy, excision/Mohs surgery, or close follow up.
• Perform and/or assist with shave and punch biopsies and minor medical dermatologic procedures.
• Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions including warts, acne, eczema and other conditions.
• Assist with documentation of clinical and Vectra findings in DermaGraphix and Athena EMR.
• Assist with prescription management as indicated.
• Review, triage, and efficiently and thoughtfully respond to member messages; liaise with on-site and off-site dermatologists to provide coordinated care.
• Review results (e.g. pathology and laboratory reports); Notify on-site and off-site dermatologist of findings and help with finalizing a care plan; assist with communication of results and care plan to the member.
• Participate in dermatology research initiatives with Vectra 3D technology, advancing data-driven, cutting-edge skin health and cancer prevention studies.
• Coordinate closely with primary care clinicians and across disciplines to deliver integrated, personalized care.
