About The Position

Essen Health Care is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatology Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive on-site dermatologic care within skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency
• Active New York State medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology

Nice To Haves

• Experience in SNF/LTC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide dermatology consultations and evaluations for SNF/LTC residents
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions, including skin cancers
• Perform dermatologic procedures within scope, including biopsies and lesion removal
• Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and clinical staff
• Ensure regulatory-compliant documentation in EMR systems
• Participate in quality improvement and survey-readiness initiatives
