Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Strong skills in community organizing, case management and/or partner-agency relations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as supervisor or manager of workforce engaged in direct client contact in an outcomes-based social-services environment.
  • Thoughtful leader with a team orientation and demonstrated critical thinking skills, flexibility, adaptability and a positive attitude.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
  • Active listener with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong program management capacity.
  • Ability to work independently, handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to proactively Identify challenges and working to resolve and/or develop alternative solutions.
  • Exhibits sound and thoughtful judgment.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to utilize a variety of technical systems with ease, including online project management tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in disaster response/recovery preferable.
  • Experience building and supporting a volunteer workforce preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management and administrative operations across the Long-Term Recovery portfolio, ensuring the team stays focused, on task, and performing to goal
  • Support execution and follow-through on current operational priorities, maintaining momentum on established operations as attention and resources extend to newly absorbed operations
  • Manage internal team processes, workflows, and administrative systems to support consistent execution across multiple concurrent operations
  • Track and monitor progress against operational goals and deliverables, flagging risks or delays for the Director's attention
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing logistics, and deployment planning across operations, including surge and backstop coverage needs
  • Support onboarding and day-to-day management of team members, providing consistent oversight as the team and portfolio grow
  • Manage internal reporting and documentation processes to ensure consistent tracking across all active operations
  • Monitor program effectiveness via collected data – both qualitative and quantitative – and serve as thoughtful advocate for program improvements
  • Provide direct supervision to assigned team members, including regular check-ins, performance management and support for professional development.
  • Support administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
