About The Position

Join a high-impact leadership role within a major nuclear engineering joint venture. As Deputy to the VP Engineering (C34), you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the engineering function, ensuring seamless integration across engineering, procurement, and construction. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help shape and deliver complex infrastructure projects in a highly regulated environment while leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering teams in complex project environments
  • Proficiency in nuclear engineering practices, regulatory frameworks, and safety standards
  • Aptitude for driving performance, productivity, and innovation in highly regulated industries
  • Strong leadership capability with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to deliver results while maintaining a focus on quality, integrity, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the engineering organization
  • Drive the execution of strategic and operational engineering objectives for the joint venture
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and project partners to ensure effective engineering delivery
  • Govern and implement engineering processes, standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement practices
  • Align multidisciplinary teams across joint venture partners to ensure consistency and performance
  • Mentor, develop, and lead engineering leaders while fostering accountability and engagement
  • Act as escalation point for technical challenges, ensuring efficient and collaborative resolution
