Deputy Project Manager
About The Position
BeVera Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager to support a federal public health contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Deputy Project Manager will support oversight of day-to-day contract operations, assist in managing multidisciplinary teams, and help ensure high-quality execution of all task order requirements. This role supports project planning, staffing oversight, financial tracking, quality assurance, and client relationship management within a federal contracting environment. NOTE: Position contingent upon award of contract. This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field or relevant professional certification.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience managing federal contracts or complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing project financials and staffing.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting environments and task order execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage client relationships within a federal agency setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day management of contract support operations, which may involve multiple tasks and teams across locations.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to project team members.
- Review and ensure quality of all work products prior to submission.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Oversee staffing, workload distribution, and personnel supervision.
- Monitor project financials, including budgeting and cost control.
- Serve as the primary client interface at the COR level.
- Assist the Program Manager in managing overall contract performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and organizational standards.
