About The Position

Amyx is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Operational Support Services contract in the DC/Metro area. The Deputy Project Manager will function as the alternate Project Manager and serve as a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). This role is anticipated to be filled by one of the contractor’s senior-level subject matter experts. The Deputy Project Manager provides subject matter expertise, program management, program analysis and reporting, documentation, strategic planning, and overall management as needed to support the CSD Mission Support Services work effort. Familiarity with DHS information technology security policies and protocols is desired, including DHS Management Directive 140-01; DHS National Security Systems Policy Directives 4300A and 4300B; and the DHS Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Systems 4300C Instruction Manual. The position requires more than ten years of experience in relevant areas, including strategic and technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for client-specific or mission-critical issues, client consultation and studies, and management of a large, matrixed, remote workforce. Candidates must have, or be able to acquire, a DHS Suitability Clearance at the Secret level.

Requirements

More than 10 years of experience.
Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
Experience analyzing and evaluating challenges and recommending improvements, optimization, development, or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical issues.
Experience consulting with clients to define needs or problems, supervising studies, and leading surveys to collect and analyze data and recommend solutions.
Ability to manage a large, matrixed, and remote workforce, especially when subcontract agreements are involved.
Active DHS Suitability Clearance at the Secret level, or ability to acquire one.
