About The Position

Amyx is seeking to hire a Deputy Project Manager o support our department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Operational Support Services contract in the DC/Metro area. The Deputy Project Manager will function as the alternate Project Manager and shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). It is anticipated that the Deputy Project Manager shall be one of the senior-level/ subject matter experts provided by the Contractor for this work effort. The Deputy Project Manager shall provide subject matter expertise, program management, program analysis and reporting, documentation, and/or strategic planning and overall management as required to support to the CSD Mission Support Services work effort. Familiarity with the following policies and protocols is desired: DHS Management Directive 140-01, “Information Technology Security Program • DHS National Security Systems Policy Directive 4300A, Version 13.1, July 25, 2017• DHS National Security Systems Policy Directive 4300B, Version 10.1, November 21, 2018’ for NSS Collateral (Unclass, Secret or Top-Secret Collateral).• ‘DHS Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Systems 4300C Instruction Manual, Version 2.1, March 24, 2017’ for TS SCI/C-LAN.

Requirements

  • Shall have more than ten (10) years of experience including, but not limited to:
  • Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
  • Providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
  • Consulting with client to define need or problem; and supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • Demonstrating an ability to manage a large, matrixed and remote workforce especially if the contract includes sub-contract agreements
  • Active or ability to acquire a DHS Suitability Clearance at the Secret Level.
