About The Position

Koniag Professional Services (KPS), a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring a Deputy Project Manager to support multiple locations. The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will manage multiple trades within a portfolio of buildings. This role involves leadership in managing trades, developing client relationships, coordinating activities, and managing a union environment. The DPM will also be responsible for project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development for IDIQ work. Client relations are key, focusing on growing relationships, market share, and collaborating with stakeholders. The role also includes ensuring contract compliance, acting as the primary liaison for energy performance standards, and promoting safe work environments. The DPM must have the authority to act for the Contractor in all details, be available subject to CO approval, and be authorized to accept notices and correspondence.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Experience in managing and supervising mechanical maintenance operations for similar size/type buildings
  • 5 years O&M/Facilities Management experience
  • 8 years in project management/supervisory role
  • Experience with similar size/complexity buildings

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • Building System Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Energy Applications as applied to managing building environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple trades across building portfolio

  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate projects from conception to completion
  • Manage scoping, budgeting, scheduling, deadlines, TO management, and proposal development for IDIQ work
  • Grow relationships and market share
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners
  • Serve as the first point of contact for contract communication
  • Implement a QMP and ensure contract compliance
  • Serve as point of contact for contract deliverables
  • Primary liaison for energy performance standards
  • Promote safe work environments
  • Must have authority to act for the Contractor in every detail
  • Authorized to accept notices, inspection reports, and correspondence
