About The Position

OSC EdgeTech, LLC is seeking a talented Deputy Program Manager / Quality Control Manager to join the team. OSC EdgeTech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. Position Overview The Deputy Program Manager will operate as both the Deputy Program Manager/Quality Control Manager (QCM) of the program. As the Deputy PM, this position will serve as a backup to the PM in all program management responsibilities, tasks, and functions. As the Quality Control Manager, this position will assess the overall quality of services and deliverables required under this PWS.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills; ability to successfully pass through the phases of the project management life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
  • Knowledge of the application of information operations for military operations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
  • Five or more years' experience as a Program or Project Manager
  • Demonstrated work experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Project Management certification from an industry-recognized certification authority such as PMI
  • Must be US citizen
  • Must possess active secret security clearance or higher
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner Certification for either ITIL v3 IF v4
  • Demonstrated experience within PMO environment (government or commercial)

Responsibilities

  • Organize, direct and manage program operations, support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
  • Serve as backup to PM managing teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
  • Maintain and manage the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures accurate, concise, and clear communications are provided to the team, including subcontractors, and customers.
  • Provide corrective guidance to team members performing services and providing deliverables to ensure overall quality.
  • Interface with Technology Division Front Office (TDFO) leaders to identify, discuss, and resolve quality control issues, and ensure quality control and process improvement initiatives are properly staffed, monitored, controlled, and reported to the government.
  • Work with PM to establish clear roles, responsibilities, lines of authority, communications, and accountability among staff in their interaction with the government.
  • Identify staff development and training needs and ensure training, and hands-on assistance is available to raise the talent/skill level of contract staff as required.
  • Implement and provide guidance related to processes, procedures, and policies, while overseeing the work of program staff, then prioritizes projects and tasks.
  • Direct and oversees planning functions to promote organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide strong leadership, including mentoring staff to improve processes, procedures, and standards based on programmatic needs.
  • Support and utilize industry best practices in program and project management.
  • Provide oversight on special projects and activities.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate and as assigned.
