About The Position

As a Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (Sr DPME) for the Marion VA site, you'll integrate with a highly skilled cross-functional team responsible for the production, implementation, and testing of advanced aerospace composites and military shelter products. You'll ensure that our products for platforms like the F18, F15, and F35 meet engineering requirements, manage coordination with production operations, and spearhead providing design inputs for upcoming contracts. Key Responsibilities: Plan, authorize, and monitor engineering work, ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables Interface with the various Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to provide necessary design engineering support for the production line, such as the organization of material review board analysis and inputs and coordination with various external customers Conduct monthly engineering status reviews and provide materials for program reviews Assist in staffing, managing resources, and providing performance feedback for the project team Foster cross-functional collaboration and communicate technical issue resolutions Oversee performance, cost, scope, and schedule for all engineering efforts Manage engineering-related risks, opportunities, and project change processes Lead technical proposals and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and assist in ROM development What sets you apart: Proven communication and ability to interface with internal and customer leadership Advanced knowledge of technologies, principles, theories, and concepts related to the manufacture and design of aerospace composites Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills Ability to lead and motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and handle negotiations Experience with SPI/CPI, Earned Value, CAM, and Statistical Process Controls Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
