About The Position

This role involves remotely monitoring the health and performance of solar power plants across various Indian states. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for analyzing daily performance, conducting energy generation assessments, ensuring communication with dataloggers, and coordinating with field and HO teams for fault rectification to minimize energy loss and penalties. The position also requires fault diagnosis, report generation, and providing data for Business Revenue Management (BRM).

Requirements

• B.Tech in ECE/EEE engineering from a reputed institution.
• Secured more than 60% aggregate in engineering graduation.
• At least two years of prior experience on SCADA of solar power plants or any thermal/renewal power plant.
• Knowledge of Communication Protocol, RS 282, RS 485, transducers/sensors, MOD Bus, PLC, SCADA, weather Monitoring station, HMIs.
• Knowledge of the working of various sub-assemblies of SCADA systems, including sensors and weather stations.
• Knowledge of the working of sub-assemblies of a solar power plant such as modules, inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
• Good communication and report writing skills in English.
• Age less than 28 years.
• Physically fit and sound.

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor the health of rooftop and ground mount solar power plants in MP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
• Analyze the performance of solar power plants on a daily basis.
• Carry out annual guaranteed energy generation assessment with clients on a need-to-need basis.
• Ensure dataloggers installed in the solar power plants communicate.
• Alert the field O&M team about any breakdown/malfunction of sub-assemblies in the solar power plant.
• Follow up with HO and field teams to ensure faults are rectified promptly to avoid energy generation loss and minimize penalties.
• Perform fault diagnosis and rectification for dataloggers or sensors.
• Generate daily Performance and Generation reports for the client and HO in collaboration with field teams.
• Provide data for BRM.
