Deputy Manager - Maintenance - MQS Paint
About The Position
This role is responsible for monitoring preventive and predictive maintenance progress for equipment in their area to ensure good customer satisfaction. The Deputy Manager will also focus on managing absenteeism, finding cost-effective solutions for FOS items through I4 ideas/Kaizens, and reducing equipment breakdowns by implementing corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, the role involves creating a safe and engaged working environment, improving Safety, TPM, and 5S scores, enhancing the quality and skills of maintenance associates through training, and managing spare parts inventory. Maintaining equipment safety through monitoring interlocks and providing Pokayoke is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Good hands on knowledge of conveyors (Roller bed, Buffer chain conveyor, Elevators)
- Good hands on knowledge of pumps, fans, blowers, Ovens
- Knowledge, profiling and troubleshooting of painting robots - Durr
- 3-5 years of General Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engg.; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile; Bachelor of Engineering

Responsibilities
- Monitor preventive and predictive maintenance progress as per schedule in his area of equipment in order to attain good customer satisfaction
- Monitor and control absenteeism on line by planning associates leave
- Find cost effective solution for the FOS Items by monitoring, suggesting, Participating, implementing I4 ideas/Kaizens
- Monitor and reduce the number of equipment breakdown concerns by reviewing the daily and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Create a conducive environment for safe and engaged working
- Monitor and improve Safety, TPM, 5S score of his cell through continuous improvements
- Improve the quality level and skill of associates in maintenance by continuous monitoring and nominating associates for various training
- Monitor and maintain spare parts stocks for both insurance and consumable spares
- Maintain safety of equipments by monitoring safety interlocks and by providing Pokayoke
