The Deputy General Manager is responsible for upholding and administering all Regal policies and brand standards, ensuring adherence to cash management and risk management protocols. This role involves overseeing employee and guest safety, loss prevention, and proper handling of food and alcohol. The Deputy General Manager will also manage hiring, training, developing, mentoring, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and terminating employees, as well as training staff in various positions including server, box office, food runner, bartender, and kitchen roles. Maintaining projection and sound technology, ensuring facilities are cleaned and maintained, and directing kitchen and bar maintenance are key aspects of the position. The role also focuses on optimizing profits through strict cost controls, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and creating staff schedules to meet demand while controlling labor costs. Guest satisfaction, relations, marketing, promotions, and efficient scheduling of movie show times are also critical responsibilities. The Deputy General Manager will also be responsible for counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts.
