The Deputy General Counsel (“DGC”) is a senior legal executive responsible for supporting the General Counsel in managing the legal and regulatory affairs of BHRB, an exchange listed, publicly traded financial holding company, and B&H Bank, its wholly owned Virginia chartered commercial bank. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, reflecting the size, complexity, and regulatory profile of BHRB and B&H Bank. The DGC serves as a key advisor to executive leadership and the Boards of Directors of BHRB and B&H Bank, with responsibility for advising on securities disclosure, banking regulation, supervisory matters, enterprise risk, and business line support. The role requires regulatory fluency, good business judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a lean legal environment while supporting a growing and increasingly complex institution with a six-state footprint (Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia).
