About The Position
The Town of Glastonbury is seeking an experienced Deputy Fire Marshal to be responsible for fire prevention, code compliance, inspections, investigations, and public education programs. The selected candidate will support the daily operations of the Fire Marshal Division and may act on behalf of the Fire Marshal when designated. This is a full-time, non-affiliated role working 37.5 hours per week. The position is non-exempt from overtime and requires working nights and weekends as necessary, including rotational 24/7 on-call duties.
