The Deputy Energy Marshal supports the Energy Marshal Manager in the execution, coordination, and field-level control of electrical energization, de-energization, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities for large-scale data center construction projects. This role assists with energization readiness, documentation control, LOTO tracking, access control, field verification, and stakeholder coordination to ensure work is performed safely, consistently, and in accordance with Hays Electrical Services’ Energy Control Program, NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and project-specific energization protocols. The Deputy Energy Marshal serves as a field execution partner to the Energy Marshal Manager, helping maintain real-time visibility of energized work boundaries, electrical room status, equipment readiness, and compliance with approved energization and energy-control processes.
