Under limited supervision, prepares court orders, maintains paperwork flow, and processes court orders in the District Clerk's office. This role involves preparing court orders for defendants' signatures after judgment, processing them by receiving them from attorneys or the public, reviewing them, and forwarding them to judges. The position also involves typing court orders to the docket sheet, posting to the computer, and notifying appropriate parties. Additionally, it includes processing indictments from the Grand Jury, maintaining court files, creating, maintaining, and closing out cases, and overseeing the storage and retrieval of criminal files. The role also entails issuing legal documents like bench warrants and subpoenas, processing jury calls, posting and imaging mail, assisting court personnel and the public with research, answering phones, receiving payments, and staying updated on relevant laws and procedures.
